EPG Middle School Math Teacher

EPGMS Middle School Math Teacher

Provide appropriate grade level math instruction to classes ranging from 14-25 students. Teacher is responsible for implementation of district selected curriculum with fidelity.
Work with grade level co-teacher to ensure all accommodations/modifications for instruction of students with special needs are met.
Meet monthly with math department to discuss curriculum planning, learning goals, and student achievement.
Meet monthly with grade level team to ensure uniformity across grade level.
Responsible for running math intervention groups for Tier II/III students during RTI block.
Other duties as assigned by administration during contractual hours.

Licensed to teach students in middle school math in IL, or have a specific plan and timeline to obtain licensure while under a provisional license.

Starting salary base 2025-26 SY of $45,500 (9% TRS included) for a first year teacher, additional salary paid for experience and education level as laid out in the EPG Collective Bargaining Agreement CBA .
EPG's existing 4 year CBA will expire at the end of the 25-26 SY. We will be negotiating a new agreement that will begin with the 25-26 SY.
