Duties
Simon Elementary School has a Principal opening for the 2026-27 school year. Simon Elementary School is a PreK - 2nd grade school with a student population of approximately 275. This administrative position will be part of the Winnebago School District Administrative Team with a start date of July 1, 2026 and a 210 day contract.
A preferred candidate will have principal experience, a proven leadership record, an understanding of curriculum alignment, as well as, the instructional process, a strong educational vision, interpersonal skills and organizational abilities, as well as, strong understanding of curriculum alignment, the educational process, and PLC experience.
Qualifications
Applicants must be appropriately certified with a current Illinois Administrative License or approved out of state equivalent.
