Duties

• Supervise and instruct high school nursing students in performing basic health care skills
• Prepare students to take the Illinois Nurse Aide Certification test

Qualifications

• RN with a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
• Required to have 1 year of experience as an RN in one or both of the following areas:
  • Teaching an accredited nurse training program
  • Caring for the elderly or for the chronically ill of any age through employment in a nursing facility, extended care unit, geriatrics department, chronic care unit, hospice, swing bed unit of a hospital, or other long-term care setting
  • Must have successfully completed an IDPH-sponsored CNA evaluator workshop or be able to attend a workshop prior to employment

Salary/Benefits

$37.00/Hour

Additional Notes

Position is Mondays and Tuesdays 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. October through April following the school schedule
