Duties
The Director of Student Services leads a comprehensive student supports program that promotes academic success, college and career readiness, and whole-child well-being for our District. This position combines traditional school counseling functions with student services leadership, including coordination of district assessment programs and connections to community resources. The Director works collaboratively with the administrative team, educators, families, and community partners to ensure students are supported socially, emotionally, and academically.
Qualifications
Candidate must hold an Illinois Professional Education License with a School Counselor Endorsement or other School Support Personnel (SSP) endorsed and working or willing to work towards school counselor endorsement.
Salary/Benefits
As determined by the collective bargaining agreement located on District website, www.virginia64.com.
This position is a 10 month extended contract (10 days before the 1st day of school and 10 days after the last day of the established school calendar)
Subject to administrative approval, the District provides tuition reimbursement for approved continuing education coursework taken through an appropriately accredited college/university. Reimbursement is limited to approved coursework that supports legal qualification for additional ISBE certifications/endorsements or other approved graduate coursework.
