Duties
Morris Community High School is seeking candidates for a full-time Business Teacher for the 2027-2028 school year. The exact teaching assignment will be determined during the registration process in the spring.
Qualifications
Appropriate Illinois high school teaching licensure is required. Opportunities exist for extra-curricular coaching and advising.
Salary/Benefits
The current collective bargaining agreement can be found here. TRS is paid by the District, and each employee receives $14,100 toward health insurance, with any balance paid as salary.
Additional Notes
Morris Community High School is currently undergoing a major construction project, including the addition and renovation of most classrooms, offices, cafeteria, media center, and other spaces. This project will greatly modernize the teaching and learning environment and is expected to be completed in 2029. In addition, MCHS has recently completed several capital improvement projects including stadium, gym, and fieldhouse upgrades.
