Duties
The successful candidate will provide resource instruction for a caseload of approximately 11-14 special education students, primarily in a general education setting. The special education teacher will provide co-taught instruction in math and Lit/L.A. and support students in their other general education classes. There is also a 30 minute time each day to provide additional support to students during their "Primetime" (homeroom). Central Intermediate School has a virtual reality lab, and a 1:1 iPad initiative available to all students at Central Intermediate School.
Qualifications
Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement required.
Salary/Benefits
The current CBA allows OES to accept up to seven years of experience from other school districts. Competitive salary + full board paid TRS contribution, BCBS health insurance (including dental and vision), and other benefits per the collective bargaining agreement.
