Duties
Morris Community High School anticipates a full-time opening for a Spanish teacher. The exact teaching schedule is yet to be finalized, but will include five sections of some combination of Spanish I through IV, one study hall supervision, and one planning period. The school day consists of seven 50-minute periods.
Qualifications
Candidates must have an Illinois Professional Educator License with an endorsement to teach Spanish.
Salary/Benefits
Salary and benefits are outlined in the collective bargaining agreement which can be found here. Benefits include Board-paid TRS contributions and $14,100 toward health insurance with any remaining balance paid as salary.
Additional Notes
Morris Community High School is currently undergoing a major construction project, include the addition and renovation of most classrooms, offices, cafeteria, media center, and other spaces. This project will greatly modernize the teaching and learning environment and is expected to be completed in 2029.
