Duties
Program Compliance: Identify, recommend and supervise compliance matters relevant to special education. Teaching and Learning: Coordinates the development, implementation and evaluation of all special education instructional programs in the school district. Human Resources: Assists in recruitment, professional development, supervision and evaluation of all special education staff. Fiscal Operations: Recommends and supervises expenditure of designated monies for the special education programs. Assist in the preparation of financial and statistical reports required to meet state and federal reimbursement guidelines. Leadership: Perform leadership and management activities relative to the special education department.
Qualifications
Master’s degree and type 75 administrative certificate or comparable certificate. Special Education Director Endorsement.
Salary/Benefits
Commensurate with experience.
