Duties
The special education administrator works with assigned districts to ensure special education services are adequately implemented, including facilitation of the IEP process. The administrator also supervises specialized cooperative run programs, including evaluation of teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff. The administrative team at WCSEA is a highly collaborative group of dedicated professionals who work throughout the cooperative to ensure the highest quality of services to students. A strong background in MTSS/RtI and SEL is desired. Special Education Administrators work a 190 day contract.
Qualifications
Administrative and/or Director of Special Education Endorsement
Special Education Teaching or School Service Personnel Professional Educator License

Additional Notes
Woodford County Special Education Association provides a continuum of services to eight member districts throughout Woodford County. WCSEA runs specialized Behavior Development, Life Skills/Autism, and Early Childhood programs, and provides administrative, psychological, social work, speech, and motor support to the member district special education programs. Additionally, WCSEA administrators and staff support the implementation of the MTSS/RtI process within the member districts. A candidate with a strong background in MTSS, data analysis, and program design is desired.
