Duties

• Provide instrumental music instruction to students.
• Planning the music for school Masses.
• Plan engaging lessons that develop appreciation for music and performance skills.
• Organize and direct performances and concerts which reflect our Catholic faith throughout the school year.
• Collaborate with teachers, administration, and support staff to create a positive and faith-filled educational experience.
• Maintain appropriate classroom management and foster a respectful, encouraging learning environment.
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff regarding rehearsals, performances, and program needs.

Qualifications

• A practicing Catholic committed to the mission of Catholic education and in full communion with the teachings of the Church, OR an educator/experienced professional in the musical field who is firmly supportive of the Catholic Church’s mission and values.
• Background in music education, instrumental performance, music instruction, or a related field required.
• Experience leading and teaching students in an educational setting preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to motivate students of varying skill levels and foster a positive learning environment.

Salary/Benefits

Hourly salary determined by school and the music teacher based on experience.

Schedule

This is a flexible, part-time stipend position where hours will be determined by the school and the music teacher.
