Duties

• Plan and teach High School English/Language Arts Classes
• Potential to teach AP/Honors level courses
• Maintain accurate records of student progress
• Work cooperatively with colleagues.
• Evaluate student progress and communicate this progress with parents
• Administer and develop assessments for the purpose of assessing student competency levels
• Establish and maintain standards of student behavior
• Supervision responsibilities as assigned 
• Participate in faculty committees and sponsorship of student activities
• Analyze data to determine curriculum decisions and path

Qualifications

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in English/Language Arts, valid PEL with HS endorsement in English, preferred expertise in knowledge and teaching of HS English, strong organizational and communication skills.

Salary/Benefits

As per the negotiated contract
