Duties

Arthur Lovington Atwood Hammond High School is looking for a Business Teacher starting second semester of the 2025-2026 school year. The HS Business Teacher is responsible for HS Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs to provide high school students with meaningful, hands-on career training across multiple pathways. We are seeking dynamic, innovative educators who are passionate about preparing students for success in college, careers, and life in the following areas: Computer Applications Business Education Financial Services Consumer Education Workforce Education Career Education Cooperative Education (Co-op)

Qualifications

Qualifications include a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate CTE, work study and business endorsement(s) or eligibility to obtain. Capable to adapt and grow curriculum and courses as student interest changes and keep current with the CTE business world. Comfortable using a variety of technologies in the classroom. Must have the ability to communicate successfully with parents, co-workers, and administration.

Salary/Benefits

Based upon education & experience per negotiated contract agreement. Salary schedule and benefits can be found in the Collective Bargaining Agreement between Arthur CUSD 305 and the Arthur Education Association.
