Duties
Candidates must be positive team members willing to work with
the ROE #3 Youth Education Services team to provide a quality education to at-risk
youth. Candidates will use a trauma-informed base to teach IL Standards-aligned
curriculum and lessons. Candidates will teach junior high school subjects, with the
possibility of some high school curriculum.
Qualifications
Must possess a valid Illinois Professional Educator License.
Salary/Benefits
Follows Illinois teacher salary requirements; starting at $41,188
Paid TRS, Sick/Personal time, Health Insurance, Paid maternity/paternity
leave, Professional development, Limited after-school events, Team atmosphere

ROE #3 Youth Education Services is dedicated to
providing a quality education to at-risk youth in Bond, Christian, Effingham, Fayette, and
Montgomery Counties. Phoenix Safe School currently serves youth in grades 6-8 in the
Montgomery County area that needs a new placement from the regular public junior high school
setting. Qualified candidates must be willing to work with students, families, and
community members to create a pathway of success for students.
