Duties
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, tests, and projects, providing timely feedback and support.
- Create a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the math curriculum and participate in school-wide initiatives.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance data.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and administration regarding academic progress and any concerns.
Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and advancements in mathematics education.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Valid teaching certification (PEL)
Proficiency in using technology and educational software to enhance teaching and learning.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Salary/Benefits
Full Time Staff Only: Health, Vision, Dental and Life Insurance paid by District for employee only. Spouse/Child at a cost.
