Duties
Fisher Junior/Senior High School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Junior High Math Teacher to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a variety of math courses to students in grades 7-8, fostering a positive and engaging learning environment, and supporting the academic growth of each student.
- Teach mathematics to students in grades 7-8, following the Illinois state curriculum standards.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that are engaging, innovative, and appropriate for the age and ability levels of students.
- Use a variety of instructional strategies, tools, and resources to ensure all students can succeed.
- Provide regular feedback to students and their families regarding progress.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes respect, inclusivity, and academic success.
- Participate in school-wide activities and professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate with other faculty and staff to enhance student achievement and school culture.
