Duties
We have an opening for a 2nd grade self-contained classroom teacher. The ideal candidate will have strengths in presenting curriculum with fidelity, engaging all students in the lesson, being able to support students at different levels of skills knowledge and working well with other teachers and staff. The classroom teacher is expected to have excellent classroom management skills and create lessons that are engaging and challenging.This position requires candidates to be knowledgeable in using technology in the classroom as our students are 1-1 with Chromebooks. The classroom also utilizes an interactive board and iPads.
Qualifications
Current Illinois educator license.
Salary/Benefits
Based on current collective bargaining agreement.
