Duties
The Cissna Park C.U.S.D. 6 Board of Education is currently accepting applications for the position of K-12 music teacher. The person employed will provide instruction to approximately two hundred and seventy students in grades K-12. The K-12 music teacher will also serve as the unit instrumental and choral music director.
Qualifications
State of Illinois Professional Educators License with an endorsement in music education
Salary/Benefits
Salary and Benefits will be paid through the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) with the Cissna Park Education Association. A minimum salary of $37,500 will be paid with the Board picking up the entire employee contribution (9.89% of salary) into the Teachers' Retirement System. The district also currently pays 100% of the employee's single health insurance coverage through the Illinois Educators Risk Management Program (IERMP).
