  • Supervise, support, and assist students assigned to Study Hall
  • Enforce all student handbook policies and procedures and document student behavior as needed
  • Create and maintain a positive and quiet learning environment for study hall
  • Manage student attendance and tardiness using the Student Information System (Skyward)
  • Prepare log entries (e.g. students going to the Health office, library, bathroom, etc.) for the purpose of providing necessary student records.
  • Help students to utilize the various resources of RBHS to ensure a successful high school experience
  • Perform general record keeping and clerical/support functions as needed for the purpose of supporting the administrative staff in meeting mandated requirements and maintaining school regulations.
  • Exhibit excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Incorporate the Six Pillars of Character Counts: Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, and Citizenship
  • Ability to coach or sponsor an extracurricular activity preferred, but not required
  • Perform other duties as assigned


  • Substitute or Paraprofessional License (ELS-PARA) or Professional Educator License (PEL)-preferred but not required
  • Physical ability to assist with lifting students (as needed), climb stairs, walk extensively, and stand for extended periods
  • Ability to communicate (written/verbal), make decisions, resolve conflict, and effectively work with staff, students, and administration
