Position: English and Social Studies Teacher (Middle and High School)
College Preparatory School of America in Lombard, Illinois is seeking talented educators to teach Middle School and High School English and Social Studies classes. Both full and part time positions are available.
CPSA is a private K-12 religious school that has been one of the premier schools in the Chicagoland area since 1991 and is currently ranked by the Washington Post as the #1 most challenging school in Illinois. We are especially seeking educators with a strong passion for teaching students, a love for English and Social Studies, and a creative/innovative approach to transferring knowledge to the next generation. CPSA is known for its excellent English and Social Studies curriculum as well as our award winning Speech, Debate, and Mock Trial Teams. We foster an environment of teamwork, encouragement, and growth as teachers are provided with assistance and support throughout the year. We have a friendly and collaborative environment at CPSA in which our teachers benefit from mentorship and guidance from other teachers as well as the administration.
Applicants are required to have strong oral and written communication skills and previous experience as an English or Social Studies teacher. Resources and support will be provided throughout the year. Professional development opportunities including training and guidance regarding teaching AP classes will be provided to new teachers.
