Duties
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: The position is responsible for working directly in a support role to the Chief School Business Official. This position provides office support, prepares and maintains a variety of records and reports related to assigned activities, while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive and personal information.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supports assigned administrative personnel for the purpose of providing assistance with their administrative functions.
- Performs a wide variety of clerical duties, including but not limited to typing and preparing letters, memoranda, reports, requisitions, spreadsheets, and other materials.
- Provides information and prepares informational brochures, pamphlets, mailings, and other material pertinent to assigned administrative personnel.
- Maintains a variety of confidential files and records, compiling pertinent information in assigned areas for the purpose of ensuring accuracy of materials and complying with all federal/state/district regulations.
- Maintains accurate records and secures confidential information.
- Gathers, reviews and maintains reports, forms, records, supporting documentation, and other information needed in support of delegated responsibilities.
- Answers phones, directs calls, takes messages and assists as needed with courtesy and professionalism.
- Schedules meetings and appointments and maintains a calendar of events for the assigned administrator.
- Makes travel arrangements and prepares expense/reimbursement forms.
- Attends and participates in assigned meetings and training; prepares minutes from notes as required.
- Responds to inquiries from a variety of internal and external parties for the purpose of providing information, facilitating communication among parties and/or providing direction.
- Serves as a point of contact for presenters/consultants and participants to ensure all necessary arrangements for training or office meetings are complete.
- Supports the coordination of District and State assessments/reports.
- Directs, sorts, and handles all correspondence for the assigned administrative personnel.
- Ensures adequate equipment, supplies and material in support of assigned administrative personnel.
- Performs all other duties as assigned by assigned administrative personnel.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Non-exempt. Work calendar and salary to be established by the Board of Education. The work hours for this position are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (includes two 15 minute breaks and one 30 minute lunch).
