Additional Notes

Colona School uses a balanced calendar that mirrors United Township High School.  As a result, school typically starts in late July or early August.  The school takes a one-week fall break (normally in October), two weeks off for winter break, and two weeks off for spring break (usually in March). The school year ends at the end of May like most other schools. Colona Grade School is climate-controlled in all classrooms.  The teacher who gets this job will have a 1-year old, state-of-the-art classroom.
