Culture Development: Cultivate and sustain a positive, high-performing school culture and operational environment conducive to professional growth, collaboration, and academic excellence. Instructional and Curricular Oversight: Function as the primary instructional leader, utilizing data-driven analysis to evaluate, provide feedback on, and continuously improve curriculum and pedagogical effectiveness. Staff Performance Management: Implement a rigorous system for formal staff evaluation and professional development, ensuring accountability and fostering continuous growth among all faculty and staff. Transition and Pathway Management: Lead and coordinate collaborative efforts with feeder school principals and building administration to ensure seamless student transitions into high school and successful matriculation into post-secondary education and career pathways. Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Act as the official representative of the school, maintaining a positive public presence and serving as a strong, transparent communicator and collaborative member of the administrative team. Qualifications Master's degree required: preferably in Educational Leadership or an equivalent Professional Educator License: General Administrator or Principal endorsement Performance Evaluation Qualification Prior Administrative Experience: Previous experience in a formal administrative role, such as Assistant Principal, Dean of Students, or Department Head, is strongly preferred. Secondary School Focus: Experience specifically within a high school setting (grades 9-12) preferred but not required, with experience in scheduling, student discipline, and college/career pathways. Data-Driven Instructional Leadership: Prefer a demonstrated track record of using assessment data and metrics to lead measurable instructional change that results in improved student outcomes (e.g., increased graduation rates, higher standardized test scores, or enhanced college readiness). Curricular Innovation: Experience in developing, implementing, and overseeing specialized high school programs, such as: Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways. Advanced Placement (AP) or International Baccalaureate (IB) programs. Dual enrollment or early college credit partnerships. School Improvement: Proven success in leading or significantly contributing to systemic school improvement efforts and the strategic integration of educational technology into teaching and learning. Strong Communication: Exceptional skill in speaking, written communication, and media relations, acting as the credible and positive face of the school to the media and community. Conflict Resolution & Adaptability: Excellent ability to handle conflict resolution (among students, staff, and parents) and a high level of adaptability to rapidly changing educational policies and trends.
