Duties
The Sangamon County Learning Academy (SLCA) has an opening for a Math teacher for the 2021-2022 school year. Classes include Algebra 1, Geometry, and Consumer Math. The mission of SCLA is to provide comprehensive educational opportunities to meet the needs of the non-traditional and truant students of Sangamon County. The Learning Academy is designed to assist students in credit recovery with modified instruction and services in addition to promoting better attendance. Our vision is that all students graduate from their home school districts "life ready". We offer a positive learning environment for both staff and students, and we are looking for an energetic and positive minded individual to join our team. Salary is based on our collective bargaining agreement and credit is given for experience.
Qualifications
Professional Educator License for secondary education with a math endorsement.
