- Create and maintain a classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.
- Provide opportunities for all students to experience success, based upon their individual learning capacities.
- Plan and implement lessons in accordance with Illinois Learning Standards.
- Implement and utilize student assessment data to guide instructional decisions.
- Collaborate with all staff to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Participate in school improvement initiatives.
- Inform parents and students of academic and behavioral progress, concerns, and long-range expectations.
- Keep current with best practices and requirements as they relate to your job assignment.
- Perform such other job related duties and assume such other professional responsibilities as your supervisor may from time to time assign or delegate.
