Duties
District 158 is seeking a professional Illinois educator as a Substitute Teacher. Typically, the classroom teacher will leave instructions and/or lesson plans for the day.
Must be able to demonstrate effective classroom and time management.
Must have an understanding of the elements of Middle School and/or elementary school education.
Must have a passion for teaching children and helping them to achieve their best.
Must be able to work with staff, students and parents from a wide range of backgrounds.
Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.
Qualifications
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License preferred. Will consider an experienced candidate with a Substitute License.
Must have experience working in a classroom setting.
Salary/Benefits
Salary is dependent on the regular substitute salary schedule.
