Duties
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable High School Math Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in mathematics to students in grades 9-12. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping students succeed in their mathematical pursuits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging and rigorous lesson plans in alignment with state and district standards for high school mathematics.
- Analyze assessment data to inform instructional decision-making and provide targeted support for individual students or groups as needed.
- Manage classroom dynamics effectively, fostering a culture of respect, collaboration, and active engagement in mathematical learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to teaching and learning.
- Collaborate with parents/guardians and school stakeholders to support student learning and promote a positive school-home partnership.
- Engage in ongoing self-reflection and professional growth to continuously improve instructional practices and student outcomes.
