Duties
Direct 4th-8th grade band program in multiple buildings. Teach small and large group lessons, 3 major concerts, in-school concerts, solo festival, honors festival, and any other appropriate events. Attend faculty meetings with company faculty, in-services, clinics and other events.
Qualifications
Minimum requirement of a Bachelors degree in Instrumental Music Education from a reputable institution. Must have Illinois teaching license or out of state equivalent. Individual should possess high energy and a desire and passion to teach music to this level of students.
Salary/Benefits
Commensurate with teaching load and experience.

Music Education Services was recently acquired by Music & Arts. We currently provide band programs to 80 schools in the greater Chicagoland area, and are looking to expand next fall. We currently have a full time position in the southwest suburbs of Chicago.
