Duties
Seeking a veteran, retired superintendent to serve as a part time superintendent for 2026-2027 School Year. Start date of 01 JUL 2026. As the Superintendent, the selected candidate is charged with being the chief executive and operating officer of grades PK-8. The Superintendent is also responsible for the management of the educational, business, and developmental aspects of the school, carrying out the policies and objectives established by the Riverview School Board. The Superintendent will be skilled in organization and managing school priorities.
60 day Contract, averaging one day a week, with the stipulation that the part time superintendent be present on days when the Principal has a planned absence from the building.

IWAS reports (or its replacement)/End of Year Reports
ISBE Surveys
Serve on WCSEA Special Education Co-op board (one meeting a month)
Represent the school in all legal, contractual, and media matters.
Qualifications
Hold or be eligible for the Illinois Superintendent's Endorsement.

Riverview District #2 is a rural school district in Woodford County, Illinois. The school averages 215 students in grades Kindergarten through Eighth. Riverview is one of 3 public grade schools that feed into Metamora Township High School which is approximately 10 miles away.
