Duties
Lansing School District 158 is looking for a dynamic candidate for our Art teacher position at our junior high school. Successful candidates must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a thorough understanding of and proven skills based on the Illinois Arts Learning Standards for Art, recognize the unique needs of adolescent students, possess highly effective teaching techniques and instructional methods that foster an engaging learning environment. Previous middle school/junior high experience is preferred, possess the ability to play piano and sing.
Qualifications
This position requires a valid Professional Educator License with an endorsement in Art at the Middle School level.
