Duties
Plan and implement instructional delivery to meet learning objectives in both English and Spanish. Establish and maintain a climate for learning. Develop and maintain files, records and reports as required. Assess students progress on a consistent basis. Consult with students, parents and staff regarding educational, social-emotional, and behavioral needs. Collaborate with classroom teachers, specialists and other licensed support staff as needed to facilitate the education of students Attend appropriate professional development, in-services, building/committee meetings, trainings, parent conferences, and/or school functions.
Qualifications
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (required); Bilingual Endorsement - Spanish (required); Language Arts endorsement (preferred) ESL endorsement (preferred)
Additional Notes
This position is for an elementary school (K-8) where the teacher will both push into the regular classrooms as well as pull small groups out to provide instruction as appropriate.
