Duties
Purpose
The teacher on assignment provides leadership and supports the principal in promoting an equitable, safe, and supportive learning environment for each student.
Essential Functions
Under the direction of the principal, the teacher on assignment:
- Supports the Assistant Principal in supporting student arrivals and dismissal processes and procedures
- Ensures availability to supervise during student arrival and dismissal
- Supporting the Assistant Principal with lunch/recess duty and supervise part time lunch/recess supervision staff
- Assists in coordination of school-wide SEL programming
- Member of Building Safety Team
- Member of the building Professional Learning Council
- Member of the Restorative Justice Team
- Supports in the implementation of the Restorative Justice Team
- Supports with the implementation of the student discipline system
- Supports with the implementation of school-wide expectation systems
- Supports with the implementation of Attendance system
Salary/Benefits
Annualized Salary Range $51,052 - $63,291. Based on experience and education level.
