Duties
Establish a student culture in which diversity is encouraged and students learn to respect differences;
Assist with the development, implementation and evaluation of intervention programs that address the needs of at-risk students;
Serve as a member of the Rapid Response Team to address concerns regarding bullying or other serious social/behavioral issues;
Monitor daily student tardies/attendance and administer/implement the student attendance and disciplinary procedures in accordance with District Policy;
Coordinate and conduct appropriate parent/teacher conferences related to tardies/attendance and discipline; and
Assist staff with behavior plans for students with chronic discipline/attendance problems
Qualifications
Valid Illinois Professional Educators Licensure – General Administrative Endorsement
Master’s Degree or Higher
Minimum five years successful classroom teaching; two years leadership experience preferred ;
