Qualifications
Must hold an Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Technology Education Endorsement
OR
Work experience related to course(s) taught to obtain one of the following Teaching Licenses:
- Career & Technical Education (CTE) Educator License with Stipulations (ELS) – 60 credit hours and 2,000 hours work experience
- Provisional Career & Technical Education (CTEP) Educator License with Stipulation (ELS) – 8,000 hours work experience
Possible teaching opportunities include Woodworking, Home Maintenance, Building Trades, Metalworking, Intro to Manufacturing , and / or Design and Drafting.
