Duties
At the middle and high school buildings, candidate must be able to provide specialized instruction and support to middle and high school students with diverse learning needs, develop and maintain individualized education plans (IEPs), and collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to ensure student success in both academic and social settings. Qualifications
Candidate must have a PEL. Candidate must possess strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams. Candidate must demonstrate patience, empathy, and adaptability in responding to diverse learning needs and behavioral challenges. Strong organizational skills are essential for managing individualized education plans (IEPs), tracking student progress, and implementing tailored instructional strategies. The ability to differentiate instruction, integrate assistive technologies, and create a supportive, inclusive classroom environment is key. Additionally, an understanding of various disabilities and evidence-based practices to ensure students receive the appropriate support to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.
