Duties
Teacher who would teach K-12 SPED
- Provide the necessary communication link between home and school. This link will establish communication regarding disciplinary and academic issues.
- Provides students with various approaches that could be used to resolve academic problems/concerns.
- Works proactively to manage student behavior issues in order to maintain a safe learning environment.
- Works collaboratively with all staff to relay pertinent information concerning students.
Salary/Benefits
Salary per negotiated agreement. 2025-26 beginning salary BS 1 is $55,232 that includes board paid TRS, 1st year as TRS employee sign on bonus of $1,099 and Board pays up to $550.00 per month for health insurance or $6600.00 per year. Tuition reimbursement of $250.00-$275.00 per semester hour.
