Duties
Early Childhood Special Education Teacher PORTA Elementary. Provide instruction to children; develop and write IEP's, monitor goal progress, participate in IEP meetings and staff meetings. Conducts assessment/evaluation of student abilities and needs; maintains cooperative working relationships with parents, member district staff, SASED staff and community service agencies.
Qualifications
A special education teacher will hold either Type 03 Elementary Certificate, Type 04 Early Childhood Certificate or Type 10 Special Teaching Certificate with Early Childhood Special Education Endorsement or an equivalent Illinois Professional Educator License with Early Childhood Special Education Endorsement.
