Duties
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary School Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a nurturing and engaging learning environment for elementary students. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of elementary education principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to inspire young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lessons in accordance with state and district curriculum guidelines.
- Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Use assessment data to monitor student growth and adjust instructional strategies as needed to meet individual learning needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to teaching and learning.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices and enchance teaching skills and knowledge.
This position is a self contained classroom in a K-5 setting.
Salary/Benefits
Final employment package will be commensurate with the collectively bargained agreement available at www.virginia64.com.
