Duties
To provide assistance to the special education teacher in providing quality services to students with disabilities.
Qualifications
1.Illinois PEL with Paraprofessional Educator with Stipulations Endorsement
- A paraprofessional educator endorsement on an Educator License with Stipulations may be issued to an applicant who holds a high school diploma or its equivalent and who holds one of the following:
- An associate’s degree; or
- A minimum of 60 semester hours of credit from a regionally accredited institution of higher education; or
- Has passed a test of basic skills (defined as the ACT Workkeys or the ETS Parapro).
2. Physically capable of performing the essential duties of the job.
Salary/Benefits
Commensurate with education and experience based on Collective Bargaining Agreement and salary schedule, with a salary range from $23,030 to $25,330 based on 180 Days per school year. Benefits include paid time off, IMRF, and insurance.
Additional Notes
Hours are 8:00am-3:00pm daily.
