Duties
The position will serve students whose academic deficits inhibit success in the regular education classroom. The teacher will be responsible for instructing groups of students with mild to moderate disabilities. The teacher will modify and supplement the curriculum to meet students’ individual needs, develop lesson plans to support individual student growth, and write Individualized Education Plans (IEP) to address deficits in academic and functional performance. The teacher will work closely with colleagues and families to address the needs of students. The teacher will be assigned other duties pertinent to the position or designated by administration.
Qualifications
LBS-I - Learning Behavior Specialists 1
PEL - Professional Educators License
