Duties
Applicants must be willing to: Learn and implement a comprehensive system (including a Point system and a therapeutic component) for student's behavior and functioning. Be trained in the structure of the SDEP program and ACT therapy by the district's Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Upload student data on a regular basis to the BCBA. Consult with Director of Special Services, Principal, and BCBA on a regular basis to maintain programming integrity and functionality. Individualize lessons and deliver instruction to students with a variety of academic and behavioral needs. Receive training and be prepared to use CPI restraint when necessary. Learn and use on-line IEP software and write IEPs according to district guidelines. Manage and work collaboratively with paraprofessionals (program assistants). Contribute to and support school improvement initiatives. Cooperate with teachers of all departments to support a collaborative school culture.

Must meet requirements for reimbursement as an LBS I Endorsed Teacher through ISBE.net
