Duties
Student Support Specialist, welcoming a variety of credentials--including Licensed School Social Workers (LCSW/LSSW) and School Counselors. This is for a PreK-8 grade building that houses approximately 800 students.
Qualifications
Education & Certification (One of the following or equivalent):
- School Social Worker: Master’s in Social Work (MSW/LCSW) with active state licensure or School Social Work credential.
- School Counselor: Master’s degree in School counseling with appropriate state certification/licensure.
- Other Qualified Specialists: Master’s degree in School Psychology.
- Mental Health Counseling (LMHC/LPC), or a closely related field w/applicable state credentials.
Salary/Benefits
Salary is per the collective bargaining agreement with additional stipend based on credentials (2026-27 Salary Schedule)

Sick Days: Step 1-9: 13 days; Step 10-14: 15 days; Step 15-19: 17 days; Step 20+: 20 days
