Duties
Sullivan School District has an opening for a Media Specialist for the 2023-2024 school year.
Duties include:
- Manage and maintain the school's media center or library, including its resources, technology, and equipment.
- Teach lessons daily for middle and high school students.
- Manage the budgeting process for media resources.
- Organize and implement reading incentive programs.
- Supervise students using the media center.
- Co-teach lessons on research and technology.
- Supervise library aide at the elementary school.
- Utilize Skyward for student information
Qualifications
Valid Illinois Professional Educators Licensure - Information Specialist or Media/Science Specialist Endorsement.
Additionally, candidates will:
-Have certification to teach at the middle or high school level.
-Be able to utilize Skyward and library resources.
-Have outstanding technology and research skills.
-Be organized, creative, and resourceful
