Duties

  • School Guidance Curriculum
    • Help students enroll in classes that will assist them in their post-high school journey
    • Monitor students achievement and assist in implementing the proper interventions.  
  • Individual Student Planning
    • In this K-12 district, the Professional School Counselor will work with students at many levels as they progress through the district
  • Responsive Services
    • Individual and group counseling
    • Being involved with school and district wide committees
    • Peer helping

Qualifications

  • Illinois Professional Educator License with School Counselor Endorsement
  • Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate
    and acceptable

Salary/Benefits

As determined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement that includes Board Paid TRS

Additional Notes

Employment would start immediately and is for 190 contractual days.
