Duties
Seneca High School has an opening for a Special Education teacher for the 2025-26 school year. Additionally, the Head Boys Basketball position is available as well as other co-curricular assignments. Come join a terrific department at SHS!
Case management duties; plan, develop, implement, and evaluate, a relevant and rigorous curriculum in high school courses and in compliance with students’ IEPs; and guide/manage transition services. Extra-duty obligations will be required.
Qualifications
A qualified candidate must posses/be: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Educator License endorsed in Learning Behavior Specialist I (LBS I), high expectations for student success and work individually and collaboratively to create conditions that promote student success, the ability to build and maintain positive professional relationships with students and their families, high standards of professional practice, strong organizational skills, team player mentality, excellent communication skills, excellent classroom management skills, and proficient use of engaging technology
Salary/Benefits
As per the negotiated agreement. A full benefit package, including the option for health, dental and vision insurance, TRS retirement, sick and personal days are available.
