Duties
Serve as the teacher and case manager for 6th grade students receiving special education services in a wide variety of settings including both the general education and resource environments. Collaborate with paraprofessionals and teachers of general education to ensure accommodations are appropriately implemented for individual students. Participate as an active member of the IEP team, including drafting and oversight of individualized education plans. Progress monitor students and maintain accurate records on progress towards goals. Implement district approved special education interventions.
Qualifications
Professional Educators License with LBS1 endorsement.
Salary/Benefits
District #102's salary is regionally competitive and the district offers a solid benefits package. Final salary will be determined per the collective bargaining agreement. Minimum starting salary for the 2023-2024 school year is 45,585. Previous experience and educational level will be strongly considered.
