Role and Responsibility

Teaching Band, Choir, and Guitar classes at the high school
Supervising, instructing, and coordinating all activities related to HS Marching Band, Pep Band and Concert band
Planning, rehearsing, and directing musical experiences for the school and community with evening performances included
Cooperating with school administration in providing music programs for school productions, graduation ceremonies, etc.
Overseeing scheduling and other arrangements for the rehearsals and concerts in cooperation with the building principal
Submitting budget needs in accordance with established procedures and timelines
Planning and implementing a balanced music program for students at the intermediate school (Grades 4-6)
Recruiting and instructing 6^th grade beginning band and coordinating related activities, programs, and concerts
Recruiting and instructing 6^th grade Choir
Ordering all supplies and materials necessary for band-related activities in accordance with established district procedures and budget guidelines
Controlling storage, repair, and use of school-owned equipment and materials

Salary and benefits per the negotiated contract based on experience located at www.deemack.org
