Duties
The South Macoupin Association for Special Education (SMASE) is seeking a full-time special education teacher for a middle school cross categorical instructional classroom in Staunton CUSD 6 for the 2022-2023 school year.
Qualifications
As per Illinois State Board of Education: Professional Educator’s License with Learning Behavior Specialist I endorsement
Salary/Benefits
Regionally competitive and dictated by the current Collective Bargaining Agreement

SMASE serves the school districts of Gillespie, Mt. Olive, Staunton and Bunker Hill. This classroom is located in the Staunton Junior High School.
We are located an hour south of Springfield, IL and 30 minutes from Edwardsville.
