Duties
Establish positive, professional relationships with students, parents, staff, and administrators at Unity. Primary responsibilities will be at Unity High School, but there will be some responsibilities throughout the district. Duties may include but not be limited to tasks related to the following: Student Information System (SIS), data management system (PowerSchool), graduation and college/trade school entrance requirements, scholarship support, master scheduling/class scheduling, promotion of careers, class and college planning, state and other standardized assessment planning, as well as other duties assigned by principal.
Qualifications
Current Illinois Professional Educator License with secondary/guidance school counselor endorsement. Candidate must excel in all forms of communication, collaborative working relationships, and strong technology skills.
Salary/Benefits
Salary and benefits conform to the current teachers' contract and salary schedule with reference to experience and education. Refer to the negotiated agreement on the district website at www.cusd4.com.
Additional Notes
Unity High School serves students in grades 9-12 by providing learning opportunities in a technology rich environment where students have their own MacBook. Unit 4 is a small rural district in west central Illinois and approximately 10 miles north of Quincy, IL. There are about 700 students in grades K-12. Posted until filled. EOE.
