Duties
This position will require the evaluation of students ages 3-21 in a public school environment suspected of having speech-language disabilities and hearing impairments. Developing and writing Individualized Education Plans (IEP) for students. Providing therapy/treatment for students with speech-language disabilities in the school setting as prescribed in their IEPs.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess either a valid Illinois Professional Educator license endorsed in either Teaching or Non-Teaching SLP or Possess a valid Speech-Language Pathologist License issued by the IDFPR. Strong organization and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with educational teams. Experience working with children and in the education system is preferred.
