Responsible for the planning, operation and evaluation of the educational program of Pinckneyville Elementary School
Supervise and evaluate assigned certified and non-certified staff members
Enforce student handbook and assign consequences for handbook infractions
Create and maintain master schedule for teachers and paraprofessionals
Complete lunchroom schedule
Attend IEP Meetings
Supervise extracurricular events along with the athletic director
Coordinate substitute teachers
Evaluate student transcripts
Monitor student attendance/truancy as needed
Assist Superintendent with professional development
Coordinate weekly Professional Learning Communities for the district
Prepare data reports from NWEA MAP Assessments to drive instruction
Schedule facility use for school functions and outside groups
Recommend to the Superintendent appointments, retention, promotion, and assignment of all personnel assigned to the Elementary School.
Perform other such duties and responsibilities as assigned by Superintendent/Principal
Assist District Administration in formulation of district and school policies.

Valid Illinois Professional Educator's License (PEL) with Administrative Endorsement
Master’s Degree in Educational Administration
Teacher Evaluator Certified
Ability to manage others, communicate and work well with parents, students, teachers, staff, and other school administrators
Strong Community Relations and Interpersonal Skills
Strong organizational, time management and conflict resolution skills are necessary
Computer Experience especially in Excel
NWEA MAP Assessment working knowledge
Understanding of the Illinois Assessment of Readiness
Professional Learning Communities Experience
